The wine is bright, breezy, of dazzling bouquet and totally free from burdens of smell and taste, which have forced us to leave many bunches. Fragrance and flavour open in the air. It is called a “young Brunello”. A wine produced from vineyards at 200, 300 and 450 m asl and of varying expositions, where the soil is poor and rocky, mainly composed of marl. The production area is close to Castelnuovo dell’Abate, in the river Orcia valley. The pruning system is cordon spur.
