The Frappato is a red grape variety present in Sicily but essentially in the province of Syracuse and that of Ragusa. The grapes of the vine Frappato vinified give a great wine lightly loaded and brilliant ruby red color, high vinous aromas, floral and fruity, medium-bodied, well-balanced tannins, cool and smooth taste, very harmonious. In the assembly it is blended with tertiary hints of graphite and some known animal that comes from the secondary grape, typically the Nero d'Avola. The palate has a medium-bodied, with soft tannins and a fresh taste and fruity, light. In some of the most important wine-making it takes on a ruby with purple hues. Sparkling wine is also vinified in rosé using the classic method.
