A wine well known in Oltrepò and Piedmont, the differences of the two zones are caused by the application of pure Croatina for the Oltrepò Pavese and in Piedmont is produced with Bonarda grapes. Ruby-red color, the nose has an intense and pleasant scent; the taste is dry or sweet, slightly tannic, fresh and sometimes lively.
