Born in the Langhe, is one of the first names recognized in Italy in 1966 together with Barolo. Garnet red color with an intense, distinctive and with a scent of berries and rose hips. The palate is dry and harmonious in its fullness. Barbaresco is made from Nebbiolo and shows an intense and brilliant color ranging from ruby red to garnet fading and a stimulating bouquet of ethereal yet still fruity aromas reminiscent of raspberry and red fruit jam, geranium and purple, but also the green pepper, cinnamon and nutmeg, hay and wood, toasted hazelnut, vanilla, and even aniseed. It has to be aged at least two years of which one in oak and after four can be defined as "reserve".
