The Colli Euganei Doc had its initial establishment in the year 1969 but was however modified in December 2010 and promoted to the DOCG status.
To begin, the Colli Euganei are hills rising from Po-venatian plain south west of Padova.
The area is rich in volcanic soils rich in minerals and trace elements making it suitable for their growth.
It is due to the presence of these soil that make it possible for such wines with complex organoleptic properties to thrive.
The Vine and Wine making
The DOCs virticultural zone is best known and popular for the production of particular sweet brand of wines.
Grapes used to make this brand have a high concentration of sugars and other additional substances that enhance the body of the wines made.
Moscato Bianco grape variety are hand picked when ripe at the end of September.
They are then left to dry partly on the collecting vine.
After this, they are crushed and squeezed and left to ferment until December at controlled temperatures of 16°c.
The last procedure involves leaving them for 3 months in steel tanks before being bottled.
Organoleptic Properties
It suits the description of pale yellow with reflections of gold.
It taste is sweet that goes without saying.
It also has a refined feel that when taken, remains persistent and goes well with the body.

This wine is suitable with all types and kinds of desserts.
